Ibeyi is a French/Cuban musical duo consisting of twin sisters, Lisa-Kaindé and Naomi Diaz. Ibeyi sings in English and the language of Yoruba, a Nigerian language that travelled to Cuba via slavery in the 1700s. The twins' father was the famed Cuban percussionist, Anga Díaz, who as a member of Buena Vista Social Club.
